Raisa was raised by her two parents living in Los Angeles. There are two sisters: Irlanda Almendarez and Italia Almendarez. The first name of Francia is Italian for France. Similar to that, Irlanda is Ireland in Italian as well. Italia is the Italian word that means Italy. Her mother Virginia Almendarez has Mexican roots while her father, Renan, has roots in Honduras. Renan started using the name El Cucuy shortly after Francia was born. He is an acclaimed Latino radio DJ who is well known in Los Angeles. Francia lived in a house that was dominated by a famous dad and so did her sisters. She is fluent in Spanish as well as English proficiently. When she was just five years old old, Francia was enrolled for dance lessons by her parents. The classes were not focused only on one kind of dance. Lindsey Broad has gained fame for her work as an American actress who played Spring in the web series The Burg, Allison Stark in Fox's sitcom 'Til Death as well as Cathy Simms from the US version The Office and Chelsea from the CW's comedy drama In the Dark. Born in New York Broad had always had a dream of becoming an actor. Following her involvement in numerous plays while she was still in high school, the actress studied theatre in the theatre department at Pennsylvania State University. Broad's debut on screen was The Burg, an online comedy created from Penn State students. She first made her screen debut just a couple of years later, in David Mackenzie's romantic comedy Spread.
